Hey Chefs,
This “recipe” is seriously so simple, I don’t even know if I can call it a recipe!
I figured I’d share it because I don’t know about you, but I find it’s easy to make the same smoothie over and over and get really bored of it!
If you happen to have frozen peaches on hand, this is a perfect use for them! I’m not really sure what else you could do with frozen peaches, but I’m sure there’s lots of things you can make…
Anyways, I found some in my mom’s freezer and threw them in my smoothie. The result was a light, slightly sweet, and refreshing pick-me-up.
If you want to amp it up a notch, throw some vanilla protein powder in for a filling snack or post workout treat!
Cheers 🙂
Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 1/2 would work too if you have a leftover half from the day before. If I’m only using 1/2, I’ll just cover the top part of the leftover half with plastic wrap and use it the next day.
- Handful frozen peaches (~1/2C)
- Milk to cover fruit
- Optional: 1 scoop Vanilla protein powder
Serves: 1

Instructions:
- Add fruit to blender
- Cover in milk
- Blend
- Enjoy immediately
(Seriously, it’s that simple!)
Notes:
- If you don’t have a blender at home and you’re interested in making some smoothies, but don’t want to pay for a super fancy one, buy a single serve blender! I bought a super basic, no frill, Hamilton Beach single-serve blender (51109CR), and it’s AWESOME. I got it on sale at Walmart for $14 (regular around $20) and I honestly use it more than my big blender! It blends ice/frozen fruit so well and doesn’t leave any weird chunks or pieces (even with Spinach). Plus, it’s SO much easier to wash! I literally so obsessed with this blender that I brought it on exchange with me to Singapore!

If you make this, I’d love if you shared an Insta story and tagged me @simplestudenteats_!
